    Walked passed Mel Gibson getting his picture taken with a bunch of drunk obnoxious restaurant-goers last night (December 13th) around 6:15pm on the corner of Broadway and East 20th. Was wearing his black leather jacket and had a full head of grey hair. Pulled over to confirm the sighting with a nearby doorman, and we both rolled our eyes at it. For a fleeting moment, I have to say I kind of pitied him for having to deal with such a big group of Loud Stupid Drunks... but then realized that if it's possible to get away with being a vocal anti-semite and running away from your seven children... and still get that kind of love... than the world is fucked up in far more complicated ways than I could imagine. Taller than I thought he would be.

    Just spotted Deepak Chopra on 56th between 6th and 7th. Unfortunately, he wasn’t wearing his blinged-out eyeglasses that he donned during his interview on the View yesterday. He looked like every other ITT grad from the last generation - clad in a nondescript fleece jacket and on his cell phone, clearly talking business.
